Jack and Jill is an upcoming comedy[citation needed] film starring Adam Sandler. Ben Zook wrote the original draft. Adam Sandler brought in Seinfeld and Saturday Night Live writer Steve Koren to rewrite the original script with him. Comedy writing veteran and frequent Sandler collaborator Robert Smigel came in later and did a rewrite of the script, but to no avail. Dennis Dugan, who has collaborated with Sandler on most of his films, will serve as director. The film is produced under Sandler's production company Happy Madison, and was shot in Los Angeles, and on the cruise ship Allure of the Seas, before its maiden voyage in December 2010. The release date has been set at November 11, 2011. It will be distributed by Columbia Pictures.
